Sunday afternoon, July 3

I sowed the seeds of Japanese mustard spinach.

I made a depression in the soil of the planter with my index finger, dropped the seeds one by one, and sprinkled the soil lightly.

The seeds are spaced 1 cm across and less than 10 cm wide.

Two days after I sowed the seeds, I looked at the planter and saw that the seeds had already sprouted.

I was surprised at the speed of germination.

The solid on the right side of the photo looks like it just popped out of the soil.

I have to wait a week for some things, so this speed was too much fun for me, who is impatient.

Wednesday, July 6th

On the third day, what should be noted is the amazing germination rate!

The package description says 90% or more, but it's really an amazing germination rate.

In this cultivation, probably 39 out of 40 germinated.

98%!

I said that when I sowed the seeds, I dropped the seeds into the pits and covered them with soil, but there were several places where the pits were covered with slightly larger lumps of soil.

I thought I would push the seeds in if I messed around with them, but they sprouted without hesitation.

I will post the next one after a week, after I can observe the growth to some extent.
