No, if you clear it normally, the quest will end without incident, but if you do something, it will become a labyrinthine quest.

The quest is called "Stairway to Heaven".

And the phenomenon that the objective "find the exit from the gardens" of the stairway to heaven can remain forever.

The solution is simple.

Clear stage 22 "Levanian Gardens" again.

Then the quest should be completed.

Defeat the enemy at the end of Levanian Gardens to open the gate.
