Freeze on the Loading screen for the new Call of Duty 2022

I will tell you how to solve the phenomenon of freezing on the loadengscreen of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II.

This freeze was also happening in the open beta.

In addition, I do not have a clear opinion about the cause of the freeze, but I believe that one of the factors is that my PC does not have an optimal GPU.

Solution for this phenomenon

As I said at the beginning, when this freeze occurs, the same phenomenon may be repeated even if you force quit the game and start it again.

The two solutions I've tried that worked for me are:

Leave and wait

The freezes that this article refers to are different from crashes where the app stops working completely, this forces you back to the lobby if left unattended for a while.

At that time, the BGM will be cut off once and it will start from the beginning, and a timeout and the following notification will be displayed.

If you choose to leave with this notification, you will be returned to the normal lobby screen.

If you then start another match, the freeze on the waiting screen will no longer repeat.

By the way, the time to leave it alone was about 6 to 7 minutes in the case of my PC.

I don't know the exact time because it may depend on the specs of your PC.

It's not a fundamental solution because it may freeze again when the game starts up or suddenly, but it's the best method I know at the moment.

In my case, the BGM continues to play even if I minimize the game with the Windows key.

Uninstall/Install

We have confirmed that the freeze on the loading screen can be avoided by uninstalling and reinstalling the app once.

However, it cannot be said to be effective because it will freeze again after repeating the play several times.

In addition, [Scan and Repair] did not solve the freeze on the loading screen.
