Thoughts on Convenience Store Products
It must have been quite some time, but sweets and snacks with names such as gods and devils in the product names began to line up in stores.
In the case of products with the name "god", the word "amazing" in "very yummy" would be paraphrased as "god".
It seems that the "dangerous" of is rephrased as the devil.
The other day, I ate french fries called "Kami nori salt" from Koikeya.

Looking at the website of Koikeya, it seems that it comes from "divine deliciousness".
If you think about it, it's a little surreal and strange, but you can see that it's a product with high expectations.
However, I think that devout Christians and Muslims may be repelled by such names as gods and devils.
I haven't done any statistics, but as someone who has lived in such a culture, it says, "Don't chant the name of God in vain."
I don't think they will buy it.
I don't think there is a product that will appeal to everyone, so if more people buy it, then it's not a bad strategy.
Even so, there are quite a few Christians and Muslims in Japan.
Some of them may have adopted vegetarian habits, and others may be strict about not eating pork.
In consideration of such people, products made only with vegetables and grains have been developed, so I thought that there must be a segregation in this area.
