Weapons Research summary
There are two tasks:
- Complete 1 Hunt Contract.
- Extract an enemy operator's weapon.
Completing the Hunt Contract
Find the Hunt Contract icon on the map
Hunt contracts are called [Squad Hunt] on the map, and are marked by an icon that looks like a human face.
Taking this contract will mark an operator in Al Mazurah, and killing it will complete the contract.
Similar to Warzone bounties.
By the way, there is no contract called Bounty in DMZ, but there is an [Eliminate HVT] with the same icon, and this target is not an operator but an AI (armored Al-Qatala soldier).
Kill an operator
It differs from bounty targets in that it has a wider circle that points to the operator.
Killstreak UAVs, UAV Towers, Spotter Scopes, etc. can help improve your spotting accuracy.
It's a showdown with an operator, so I'd like to have a custom weapon and a 3 armor vest.
A field upgrade might be an anti-armor round as a loadout specific to this mission.
Kill the designated operator to complete the contract.
In the event of a 1v3 situation, risking the worst possible death and chasing after kill confirmation may be a shortcut to completing the contract.
Extract an enemy operator's weapon
There is an image of extracting the weapon of the operator killed by the hunt contract in the flow of the mission and escaping, but it does not necessarily have to be the weapon of the operator you killed yourself.
All you have to do is bring back the weapons dropped by other squad operators.
In my case, the weapon I casually picked up was apparently dropped by a killed operator by someone, and the task was unintentionally completed when I escaped.
If you find a backpack dropped by an operator in a restricted area or extraction point, picking up a nearby weapon and escaping may complete the task.
