It's okay even if it's stopped

Joy Ride summary

There are two tasks:

  1. Kill 30 enemies while on the roof of a moving vehicle at Al Sharim Pass.
  2. Kill 30 enemies while leaning out of a moving vehicle in Sarrif Bay.

When I read the description of this mission, I was skeptical that it would have to be attacked from a moving vehicle.

"Is it a specification that can't be done solo?"

But actually, it was easier than I thought because it was okay even when the vehicle stopped.

Kill while on the roof of a moving vehicle

Check task conditions

When you kill, check the on-screen display to see if you're in Al Sharim Pass.

The description of the task says that it is moving, but it is okay if the vehicle is stopped.

Even if the engine is stopped, if you climb on the roof and kill enemies, it will be counted.

It is on the roof, but in the case of trucks and armored vehicles, it also counts on the bed.

You can go directly to the roof from inside the car with the key specified for [Climb the roof], but even if you jump on the roof from outside the car and kill it, it will be counted.

Vehicles that are convenient to have

Armored vehicle

A vehicle that the enemy rides on for reinforcements.

Cargo truck

The nice thing about these two vehicles is that the cargo bed becomes a place to hide.

When facing multiple enemies, when reloading, etc., the degree of danger changes considerably if there is no cover.

Handy Weapons

Sniper rifle

I feel that the sniper rifle that can defeat Al-Qatala soldiers in one shot is the easiest.

If you have 40 sniper rifle rounds, you should be able to progress the task considerably.

By gradually closing in from an unnoticed distance, the risk of being killed in a counterattack is also reduced.

Relatively safe place

At the top of Al Sharim Pass, there are many Al-Qatala soldiers in armor.

I think it's a good idea to defeat the enemies without armor around the private houses from the bottom to the middle of the hill.

The boundary between Ahkdar Village and Al Malik Terminal is also a gap for enemy forces.

If you gradually kill from there, you can also avoid being surrounded by enemies.

Kill while leaning out of a vehicle

If you press the key specified for [Lean out] while driving a vehicle, the player will lean out of the vehicle's window and enter the FPS perspective. (I think the key layout is different for each person, so please check yours)

By the way, [ATV] cannot be leaned.

Important point

The task itself isn't that difficult, but one problem is that there aren't many vehicles around Sarrif Bay.

It is necessary to find a vehicle that is close and affordable from the starting point and get on it.

I would like to make good use of armored vehicles for reinforcement.

Check task conditions

When killing, check the on-screen display to see if you are currently in Sarrif Bay.

Even though the task description says it's moving, it still counts as a kill even if the vehicle is stationary.

Relatively safe place

North of Salif Bay, on the high ground between Ahkdar Village and the railroad tracks, is a safe place to target unarmored Al-Qatala soldiers with a sniper rifle.

However, I felt that the probability of encountering operators was high probably because the main street was close.

The villages on the west side of Sarrif Bay toward Sawa Village are also dotted with Al-Qatala soldiers who are not wearing armor, so the difficulty level is low.

There aren't enough enemies to cover the task here alone, but I think it's a good idea to start here.

In the center of Sarrif Bay, near the market, there are quite a lot of enemies and reinforcements are frequent.

Be careful not to accidentally run into soldiers wearing armor.
