A mission that reminds us of the hardness of reinforcement helicopters

Reinforcement helicopter destruction missions that increase the difficulty even more by weapon regulation.

No Rushing summary

There are two tasks:

  1. Kill 10 enemies at Al Malik Terminal with a SAKIN MG38 with a 150 round box magazine and a Soshki's bipod
  2. Shoot down 3 reinforcement choppers at Al Malik Terminal with a SAKIN MG38 with a 150 round box magazine and a Soshki's bipod.

I don't know if it's a mistake, but in this game, there are three names: Al Malik Terminal, Al Malik Airport and Al Malik International.

For the purposes of this article, we will refer to it as Al Malik Airport or Airport after its name on the map.

Customize the SAKIN MG38 for this mission

The first thing you have to do is to make the weapon to the specifications specified for the mission.

SAKIN MG38 is a weapon classified as a light machine gun.

It is to attach a 150 round box magazine and a bipod (under barrel) called Soshki to this.

Change loadout weapon to SAKIN MG38

If you have a weapon you want to take with you in the DMZ, it should be set as a loadout.

At this stage, we should only be able to select one loadout, so we will place SAKIN MG38 there.

Equipped with a 150 round box magazine

Let's change the magazine to install a 150 round box magazine.

The 150 round box magazine seems to be released at level 15 for SAKIN MG38. (Although it is written as level 5, it is actually level 15.)

Attach Soshki

I also try to change to Soshki.

This will not be released until you reach level 17.

Train SAKIN MG38 to proper level

If your SAKIN MG38 level is less than 17, you will need to accumulate experience points.

Equip the SAKIN MG38 to get kills, collect expensive items and get a lot of experience points.

Once the level reaches the proper value, change the magazine and underbarrel to the designated ones respectively.

My customization

I haven't tested it in depth, so I don't know if it will be helpful, but I thought it would be a countermeasure against reinforcement helicopters, so I tried customizing it like this.

Basically, it is a specification that sacrifices mobility and operability to maximize power and range.

At first, I had a sight on, but I took it off because helicopters were big.

This is a difficult customization for engagement with Al-Qatala soldiers.

[Incendiary bullet] I tried installing it because it increases damage to vehicles.

Get 10 kills at Al Malik Airport

Getting 10 kills at the airport in the first task isn't that hard.

The inside of the airport building is a restricted area, and enemies with armor will appear.

If you don't have anything to do inside, it's safer to kill the unarmored enemies around the perimeter first.

Destroy 3 reinforcement helicopters at the airport

Destroying the reinforcement helicopter was quite difficult.

Even though I have a 150-round light machine gun, the reinforcement helicopters are pretty tough.

You have to keep shooting at the helicopter with all your might while there are also attacks from surrounding enemies.

I will describe two methods that I have implemented.

Light Machine Gun & Rocket Launcher

Kill an Al-Qatala soldier with the SAKIN MG38 and hit a few launchers when a reinforcement helicopter appears.

After that, it is a tactic to switch to SAKIN and stab the finisher.

The good thing about this tactic is that you can attack the enemy with SAKIN, which has a high rate of fire.

If SAKIN has about 50 bullets remaining, you can finish off the helicopter.

Light Machine Gun & Sniper Rifle

This combination saves all 150 rounds of SAKIN's rounds for destroying helicopter reinforcements.

While killing enemies with a sniper rifle, when reinforcement helicopters appear, switch to SAKIN and keep shooting helicopters.

You can destroy the helicopter by using up exactly 150 rounds.

It's more difficult than using the launcher.

In my case, I feel that the sniper rifle is easy to use against Al=Qatala soldiers, so I chose this one, but in reality, I think it's okay to use a weapon that you're good at or a weapon that you have on hand.

If you're going to use an assault rifle, it's the same type of ammo as the SAKIN, so it's a good idea to stock up on spares or bring ammunition box.

air strike is too strong

Even those tough reinforcement helicopters can be destroyed in one hit with Air Strike.

I couldn't use the tactic of weakening and stopping with SAKIN.

Video of knocking down a reinforcement helicopter

It is a clipping of the part where the reinforcement helicopter was destroyed.

I apologize for the poor quality, but I hope this helps.

The state of the mission [Two Birds] at Al-Safwa Quarry is also included.

Also, it's completely unrelated, but I remember feeling nostalgic that there used to be a girl in my neighborhood with the nickname Sakin.
