Commander helicopter location
When the commander helicopter approaches to some extent, you will be notified that the commander helicopter is nearby.
BGM also changes.
It is easy to understand because the icon is displayed on the map.
It shouts through a loudspeaker all the time, and if you attack it, it will counterattack with a machine gun.
There is also a fear of dying if there is no cover.
How to defeat the commander helicopter
Use SAM site
I feel it is easiest to activate the thumb site near the commander helicopter.
Of course, it depends on the position of the SAM site, the placement of the enemy, and your weapon, but once you activate the SAM site, the rest will be defeated automatically.
It is reassuring to have grenades as a countermeasure against reinforcements that will be dispatched while the SAM site is activated.
It may be necessary to attack the commander helicopter and lure it to the activated SAM site.
*If you use it on Ashika Island and Vondel, you will be able to clear missions related to killing commanders more easily than with Chemist.
*Vondel is recommended.
If I had a light machine gun
Ammo is what you need to kill a commander helicopter.
Another impenetrable shield.
If you have these two things, you will never lose.
And I think that it is an arsenal that has these elements.
I call the building with the ammunition container in the center atrium the armory.
Even if you run out of ammo, you can replenish as much as you want in the ammo container. (Cooldown is 1 minute)
First, once you've secured a spot near an armory or with cover, attack the Commander Helicopter to draw its attention.
Even if you are far away, it will attack while shooting.
Hide behind cover immediately.
When you reach the armory, fix the weapon through the window and attack.
The Commander Helicopter has a low accuracy rate, so you can avoid a lot of damage by shooting behind cover.
Since it circles, if you wait even if it disappears, it may reappear, but since there are many windows in the armory, you can also move flexibly to a position where you can see the commander helicopter and fight.
If you've gone too far, go out into the inner corridor and use the ladder to get to the roof and check your location.
Let's go back indoors again after attacking and approaching.
If you take a lot of damage, the wings will be destroyed and smoke will rise.
Both wings are gone and it's finally about half.
When the Commander Helicopter is destroyed, it loses control and crashes while circling.
If the task is in progress, 1 is added to [Kill Commander].
Digression
The market-like building has a staircase that leads directly to the roof, but when I attacked the commander helicopter from this staircase, I was able to shoot it down with almost no damage.
Even if you shoot it, it will not counterattack, and the reaction is dull.
Since I ran out of sniper bullets, I defeated it with a basilisk after losing both wings, but it took a very long time.

By the way, killing a commander helicopter with a basilisk has the advantage of requiring less ammo than other weapons.
