I was able to experience my first Warzone team battle.

On February 17, 2023, I participated in a custom match test play conducted by Rush Gaming.

In one word, it was fantastic!

(Even after the night has passed, I'm immersed in the lingering feeling that my excitement hasn't cooled down. The next day, I had to work on Saturday.)

Subscribe to Discord

Click the URL to the right of [Join test play here] to go to [Discord].

In order to participate in test play, you must first register for Discord.

Discord seems to be an app that has a function that allows you to chat by text and voice.

It seems that it is also used when game streamers collaborate because it can be used at the same time as applications such as games.

I was hesitant to participate because I had a lot of anxiety, such as having to type something, sending messages, and the need for communication skills between participants. I didn't have to worry about it.

A one-way announcement from the staff will be played, so all you have to do is read it and wait for the timing to participate in the test play.

There is a 👍 in the reaction function, but if you press it, your action will be shared with the participants.

From [⚙ (Settings)] to [Activity Settings], [Registered Games] → [Add! ] and register Call of Duty to automatically start Discord when the game starts.

Entering Codes for Custom Matches in Warzone

The staff will let you know the game code on Discord.

There is a channel called [#Custom Code] on the left side, so you can see the game code by clicking there.

A field for entering the game code will be displayed, so enter the code there.

By the way, it's not case sensitive.

This time, Guppy, who delivered in real time, also told me the game code in the chat column, so it seems that some people participated in the game while watching YouTube streaming.

However, according to him, incoming calls are quicker on Discord, so using Discord can prevent the first-come-first-served basis.

My record

Round 1 Warzone Solo: 68th out of 89 0 kills, my match time is about 6 minutes.

Since the number of participants is small, I thought that I would not be able to make contact, but when I was doing a contract for a safe, I was beaten by a good person.

Unable to win even in the camp, he left the front line.

Round 2 Warzone Trio: Solo, 29th out of 45 squads of 83, 0 kills, my match time is about 15 minutes.

I can choose my own squad, but I can also choose a random one.

I don't have any close friends, so when I randomly entered, the person in the squad left.

For the first time in a long time, I felt lonely.

From the beginning, it's better to be separated than solo, it's a little bit more swaying, isn't it 💦

Well, I understand that I don't want to play with people who don't know their backgrounds and abilities, but I've seen about 2 people like that, and I ended up participating solo.

Round 3 Warzone Quad: Not participating due to line failure.

Round 4 Warzone Mini Royale: Trio, 8th maybe 3 kills.

Also, I randomly entered the squad and thought that I would leave again, but that didn't happen and the three of us completed the quad!

It was my first squad.

One was in hiragana, the other was in English, and both of them seemed to be fans of Guppy.

Most of the time, people in hiragana took the lead.

I've only played solo, so I was one step behind in everything I did, and I was taken care of by buying armor.

It's a feeling that he was the first to die because he wasn't able to escape after chasing him because he was slow to act, and because he came later, he was able to avoid the melee and survive. (The camp was released because no enemies came.)

Killing 3 people here and surviving was the highlight for me.

Two of them attacked from behind, so it was a fisherman's advantage, but the last one was about to be fished, but I shot down the enemy who jumped in with an SMG, and I think the reason for the victory was that I was able to get down.

And the hiragana person was revived and the two of them hid in Rohan Oil, but at last the three of them were found by the squad and killed.

The result is 8th place.

I think it would have been a little hotter if I had made it to 5th place.

But it was a good experience.

Thank you to everyone who fought with us.

Significance of test play

If this was a real Warzone custom, I wouldn't have participated.

I'm not good at it, and I can't say that the PC environment is good, so it's obvious that I'm annoyed.

Because I don't want to destroy the precious memories because of me.

But the word "test play" lowered the hurdles for my participation.

Guppy and the staff were very kind to me and us, "Please cooperate with me."

I will participate here myself

This is a test play for the future! We need the number of people for verification, so please cooperate! #Warzone2 https://t.co/4ID4Hf7M9M

For those who are interested in participating, he replies with "thank you", "I would love to", and "it would be helpful".

This is despite the fact that Guppy is usually a popular person, and it wouldn't be strange for me to be on the side of saying "Please", "I want to do it", and "Thank you".

I'm not good at it, but I have a feeling that I want to help.

I think I have a strong sense of volunteerism.

There is no doubt that such a low-profile response by the organizers has boosted the backs of those who are hesitant.

This method is valuable both from a business perspective and as a community-building skill.

I don't think Guppy and the staff are genuine in their words of gratitude, but it might be a good idea to consider this as a steppingstone and a strategy.

In other words, we want as many people as possible to participate in real custom play in the future.

However, first timers do not know what to do and refrain from participating.

Therefore, they call it a test and implement it first to reduce the number of people playing for the first time as much as possible, or to ease our resistance.

This strategy will come to fruition in the future, and more people will be able to participate in the actual competition.

And as the face of this project, Guppy, who is familiar with videos for beginners, is appointed as a perfect fit.

Of course, there seems to be some data that was actually obtained as a test result.

Collecting data in advance and cultivating the needs of the audience before doing a big event is a very smart way to do it.

I would like to expect more from Rush Gaming in the future.
