Still Viable MWII Weapons Series
Assault Rifles
Assault rifles excel at suppressing enemies across a wide range of distances through sustained fire.
The selection criteria are:
- Low recoil
- Kill time under 1 second at long range (50m)
- Kill time in the 0.6-second range at mid‑range (30m), where ARs shine the most

Battle Rifles
Battle rifles were extremely dominant in MWII and had a strong presence in the meta.
Currently, even the FTac Recon no longer has an impressive kill time, but the one rifle that still shows potential is the Cronen Squall.
Cronen Squall (Semi‑Auto)
Time to Kill
- 10m: 0.752
- 30m: 0.784
- 50m: 0.944
Recommended Build
- Optic: Ares Clear Shot
- Muzzle: FR Titan Silencer
- Barrel: HR6.8 Barrel
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
Notes
Although the Cronen Squall is a full‑auto battle rifle by default, this setup is intended for semi‑auto use, so keep that in mind.
At long range (50m), it finally reaches a performance level where it can compete with assault rifles.
However, because it’s semi‑auto, shot‑to‑shot consistency can be unstable.
It remains more of a “firing range fantasy weapon,” but it shows enough potential to be included here.
